Op. Dr. Emrah Efe Aslaner was born in Adana in 1983. He completed his primary education in Adana Cebesoy Primary School in 1993 and secondary education in Adana Anatolian High School and Private Çukurova Bilfen Schools in 2001. Later, he graduated from high school by studying at Wichita Northwest High School in Kansas, USA between 2001-2002 with a scholarship from the Turkish Culture Foundation.

 

He started his medical education at Istanbul University CerrahpaÅŸa Faculty of Medicine in 2002. During his medical education, he did Plastic Surgery and General Surgery internships in Spain in 2005, in the Czech Republic in 2006 and in the USA in 2007. In 2008, she started her specialization training at Çukurova University, Department of Plastic Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery, in the Medical Specialization Examination. She completed her specialty education in 2014 with the thesis titled "Comparison of Different Repair Methods Used in Breast Reconstructions Made with Autologous Tissue or Implant". Again in the same year, the European Board of Plastic Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery (EBOPRAS), which was organized in two stages, written and oral, for the 'National Qualification Examination' of the Turkish Plastic Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery Association and for the Plastic Surgery expertise to be valid in Europe as well. He was successful in the written stage of the exam in Brussels and the oral stage in Helsinki and received the European equivalence.

 

He worked as the only Plastic Surgery specialist in the region for 3 years at Osmaniye State Hospital, where he was assigned to perform his compulsory service, and worked as a consultant physician in four different hospitals affiliated to the central hospital. In this process, he successfully performed numerous nose, breast, eyelid, ear and body aesthetic surgeries, as well as congenital facial and hand anomalies, emergency facial bone fractures and injuries, skin cancers, burns and trauma surgeries requiring microsurgery.

 

In 2017, he started working at Adana Baskent University in order to work more academically and to perform his surgeries in Adana. Fluent in English and fluent in Spanish, Dr. As a member of the Turkish and European Plastic Surgery Associations, Aslaner performs surgeries in all application areas of plastic surgery and continues his academic studies. Dr. Aslaner is married and has two children, Ela and Efe, whom he calls "my most important publications".
